Integrated Engineering and Business Practices Curriculum
An engineering degree, particularly when paired with a keen understanding of business processes, is very marketable and can be applied in a variety of careers. The Integrated Engineering and Business Practices Curriculum at Notre Dame is one of the few programs in the country that merges business courses into the engineering curriculum.
A two-course sequence, the program is designed to help you develop an understanding of the dynamics of corporations. You will learn how to read a financial report and study business planning cycles. You will also examine managerial styles and organizational climates and discuss hiring trends.
In addition to classroom instruction, each course in the sequence features guest speakers who are professional engineers and managers, teleconferences with industry executives, business simulation programs, and case studies.
