Born in Baltimore, MD, I completed the pre-engineering program at the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute (H.S.). Upon receiving the Meyerhoff Scholarship, I attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and graduated in May 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering. Throughout my undergraduate career, I interned at the Lockheed Martin Corporation and participated in three Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at the University of Colorado, Boulder; University of California, Riverside; and West Virginia University. Currently, I am a Deans’ Fellow at the University of Notre Dame pursuing a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, focusing on computer vision and biometrics.
