Summary of Activities/Interests
Dr. Verma is a research assistant professor in Electrical Engineering at University of Notre Dame. His expertise lies in the epitaxy of bulk and heterojunction wide-bandgap semiconductors and analysis of their electronic, optical and structural properties. His current work explores novel band gap and polarization engineering for III-nitride based devices.

He completed his bachelors and masters from IIT Kanpur, India in Electrical Engineering in 2008. Thereafter he pursued his PhD from Notre Dame successfully defending in 2013. At present he works as a research assistant professor in Electrical Engineering, Notre Dame.
