Summary of Activities/Interests
Energy and environmental research with emphasis on the nuclear fuel cycle. Projects include the effects of ion substitution on the structural and physical properties of synthetic actinide compounds and their relationships with mineral analogs, design of ionothermal methods for the synthesis of actinide inorganic and organic-inorganic compounds, and mass-based separation of uranyl peroxide clusters from solutions of dissolved simulated nuclear fuel (SIMFUEL).
