What is the Society of Women Engineers?

SWE is an international organization comprised of both collegiate and professional members that has promoted and supported women in engineering since 1950. The international organization is divided into regions; Region H is the largest region with 2,800 professional and collegiate members and includes Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The Region H Conference supports diversity in engineering, provides networking opportunities, as well as personal, professional, and SWE leadership development.

Why become a Sponsor?

The University of Notre Dame is hosting the 2015 Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Region H Conference.

The theme for the upcoming conference is “Bring the Brains and Beauty to Engineering.” We will focus on the vital role of female engineers and will feature a “Distinguished Speaker Series”.

Every year, the Region H Conference is made possible by the generous contributions from corporate sponsors such as yourself. Sponsorship improves the event but is also advantageous for companies.

Sponsors will be able to network with hundreds of talented women engineers from 47 university and 17 professional sections from all over the Midwest, as our regional conference annually attracts over 600 college students and 100 professional members.

Sponsors also have the opportunity to provide keynote and session speakers and have a booth at the conference career fair. Please take a look at the levels of sponsorship to see how your company can get involved.
