Meet the Instructors


Robert Alworth Portrait Robert L. Alworth
,
 director of the Integrated Engineering and Business Practices program, graduated from Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He also holds a master's degree in materials science and engineering from Cornell University. Alworth comes to the University with more than 34 years' experience in industry. His expertise in domestic and international business operations — specifically customer service, manufacturing, marketing, product development, and sales — will prove a valuable resource to students in the Integrated Engineering and Business Practices Program.

Mikekitz14Michael Kitz
,
 associate director of the Integrated Engineering and Business Practices program and director of the Summer Engineering International Program, came to Notre Dame with more than 27 years of experience in industry, as an engineer and also serving key business leadership, product development, and marketing roles at Procter & Gamble, Motorola, Honeywell, and Goodyear. He graduated from Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering as well as one in theology. He earned his MBA from University of Michigan.
