Project Title

Graphine-Based Iron Carbide for Fuel Cell Applications

Project Description

I will be working in the Materials Characterization Facility under the direction of Professor Ian Lightcap where we will be developing graphene based iron carbides for fuel cell catalysis. Because graphene is common and relatively inexpensive, the widespread use of this catalysis could make hydrogen fuel cell cars more economic and efficient, as well as having numerous other potential applications.
