Project Description

I am applying my knowledge of civil engineering and economics to a project that aims to analyze one hundred seismically vulnerable unreinforced masonry churches throughout Italy. This is goal is taken on by a team of researchers who are going to select cities in Italy this summer to complete structural surveys. This summer I  am joining the team lead by Professor Kevin Walsh and David Pirchio, a graduate student. I will be focusing on data collection and risk evaluation, as my area of expertise allows me to consider structural and economic impact of failure modes.
