B.S. Applied Mathematics, Engineering, and Physics

University of Wisconsin-Madison, 2015

I am a graduate student Ph.D. candidate at the University of Notre Dame in the Department of Applied & Computational Mathematics & Statistics. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics, Engineering, & Physics.

Summary of Activities/Interests

My current research work focuses on computational fluid dynamics utilizing radial basis function generated finite difference methods and numerical modeling of Indian monsoons utilizing High Performance Computing and GPU machinery alongside interactions between these climate dynamics and climate change. This work is under my advisors Prof. Diogo Bolster and Prof. David Richter with the Environmental Fluid Dynamics Group.

Alongside my interests in CFD and atmospheric dynamics, I'm also passionate about sustainability, energy, and environmental & social justice through groups like GreeND and Fossil Free ND. At Notre Dame, I founded the SIAM Student Chapter and ACMS GSO and am currently Co-President of the Science Policy Initiative. Lastly, I am an avid musician playing violin/French horn/singing in groups like the ND Symphony Orchestra and South Bend Chamber Singers.
