ACES Small Group Tutoring

  • Small group tutoring is offered for select engineering sophomore- and junior-level courses according to demand for and supply of tutors.
  • Students are encouraged to make use of the course resources, including professor and TA office hours as the first line of academic support.
  • For courses served in the ACES Study Rooms, students are encouraged to try out the study room for several weeks before requesting tutoring. Students with special circumstances can reach out to their advisor and/or the ACES program director.
  • Students should meet with their engineering academic advisor and/or DUS to discuss overall study strategies and campus resources including LRC Study Skills Peer Mentor program and the Center for Study Support and Care Skills Mentoring Support.
  • Students can request a tutor using this Fall 2025 Small Group Tutoring Request Form.
