Society of Women Engineers (SWE)

The Notre Dame chapter of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is one of the largest student-led organizations on campus, with over 180 active members from 8 different engineering disciplines. We host many events during the year, ranging from Professional Development to Outreach events and Mentorship to Social events. The core board is comprised of 5 officers and 10 director positions to lead many of our programs. Our collegiate section is part of a national organization that aims to stimulate women to achieve their full potential as engineers and leaders, expand the engineering profession image as a positive force in improving quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity. We are excited to continue to inspire and encourage our future female engineers.
