Women in Engineering

The Women in Engineering (WIE) program at Notre Dame recognizes that women bring different perspectives to the challenging technical discipline of engineering. Its purpose is to address the unique needs of women students, ensuring that the College of Engineering helps them achieve their goals.

The goal of the Women in Engineering (WIE) program is to encourage more women to pursue engineering as an exciting and fulfilling educational and career choice.

For our current students, undergraduates as well as those seeking advanced degrees, we provide a variety of activities that enhance the learning experience including mentor programs, professional speakers, and industry/plant visits.

The program also offers a range of academic support initiatives and professional development opportunities.

WIE also promotes scholarships, fellowships, and post-graduate career opportunities.
