In this 6-week, 6 credit program for students in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, you’ll live at Notre Dame’s Conway Hall and attend classes at the Imperial College in the heart of London.
As special feature of this program, you’ll work in laboratories in the one-of-a-kind carbon capture plant on Imperial College’s Kensington campus.
The plant offers a fully hands-on experience and is only facility in the world where undergraduates can learn to operate the plant and gain real-world experience removing carbon emissions to help the planet.
Of course you’ll also explore London! Tour the Tower of London, ride the world famous double-decker Red Bus, visit the British Museum, and attend several high-end theater productions.
Only rising junior engineering students in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering may apply. This is a competitive program with limited capacity based on academics and application.
All students enroll in both of the following courses for a total of 6 engineering credits.
- EG 34358: Laboratory Course
- EG 31358: Plant Operations Course
End of June – Mid August 2021
While in London, you’ll live in Notre Dame’s Conway Hall, which has modern dorm-apartment rooms.
