Albert Cerrone
Research Assistant Professor, Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences
Areas of Interest
Al Cerrone’s research is focused on developing technologies in support of Digital Twin. He works in the general areas of coastal inundation and the durability of inorganic and organic materials systems. Applications of his research include producing localized probabilistic storm surge guidance with a high-fidelity hydrodynamics framework, assessing the lifing capability of additively manufactured materials with testing, characterization, and computational modeling, and interrogating the durability of biofilms to enhance ultrasound-mediated therapies for inflammatory conditions.
